The links below point to mp3 files that are stored at shep-archives.com/netjuke.
It is tricky to search the plethora of things there so I have listed some of my favorites here in no particular order. With your mp3 player you will likely want to fast forward past the opening musical theme (and Shep's ramblings and musical improvisations) and get to the stories. The numbers in green indicate where the stories begin.

1972 07 27 Gehrig and the Old Man  2:00
He begins with a discussion of pious slob art and moves on to the role of sport in America in which he celebrates the art of booing. He tells the story of a time when his old man booed the Yankees and Lou Gehrig at a Chicago White Sox game.

1971 Confession Night  2:00
Two confessional stories:

1973 02 15 Boarding House
A story of a few months when he lived in a boarding house. I find the descriptions of the residents and landlady to be poignant and heartrending.

1970 09 11 Fixing the Old Mans Car   Download
At age 16 Shep was a car cuckoo. He lived and breathed and dreamed about cars. He loved working on cars. This is a story of a time when he worked on his Dad's car. It was a disaster, of course.

1972 04 xx Great Plays
He discusses the work of Samuel Beckett - in particular the play "Waiting for Godot". A thoughtful and serious exploration.

1973 01 01 Resolutions
New Year's resolutions for how to make his show better.

1972 09 22 The Dentist
A story about his hobby of collecting teeth that he and Schwartz found behind a dentist's office. And about a disastrous visit to the dentist.

1969 10 21 Jack Kerouac
A eulogy for his friend, Jack Kerouac, the beat poet and author of "On the Road".

1975 02 06 Jackdaw Syndrome
A discussion of madness in the form of not being able to throw things away - the Jackdaw Syndrome. Also tells of his hobby of "junking" when he was 10.
